Diva has traded on Rua Bernardo Lima since 2011 under the tagline “a concept of art and seduction” — which, decoded, means a relaxed, stylish mid-to-upscale club a few minutes from Marquês de Pombal. It shares its street with Photus, making this short block the closest thing central Lisbon has to a gentlemen’s-club row. International performers, seven nights a week.

Stage, table, private

The programme runs the classic ladder: pole-dance shows on stage, table dances brought to your seat, and private rooms for the full one-on-one. Unusually for the genre, Diva also books male strippers and openly courts bachelorette parties alongside the bachelor trade — packages, limousine rental and all. It is, in that sense, an equal-opportunity operation.

What the night costs

Nothing is printed on a menu board, but recent visitors are consistent: about €35 at the door, roughly €110 for a private dance, and around €80 if you buy a dancer a drink — the customary price of conversation in this business. Stage and table shows are included in the room; everything more intimate is negotiated per song or per room.

Before you go

Doors run 22:00 to 04:00 daily, with both a landline and a mobile for reservations and package enquiries. The location is flat, central and safe, an easy walk from two metro stops or a short taxi from anywhere downtown. Groups should call ahead — the packages, limousine included, are the club’s bread and butter.
