On this page
Every profile on The Girl Next Door (TGND) is reviewed by hand before it goes live. This page explains exactly what “verified” means here, what we check, and — just as important — what we can’t promise.
What we check before a profile goes live
Three things, every time. First, the photos: we compare them against the ad and reject sets that show up elsewhere under different names, carry other sites’ watermarks, or are obviously not the same person across images. Second, the contact number: it has to be a working Portuguese number that actually answers, and it can’t already belong to another profile on this site. Third, the ad itself: duplicates, copy-pasted text from other platforms and known scam patterns get rejected. No profile is imported automatically from anywhere.
Verification levels
Not every profile has been through the same depth of checks, and we’d rather show you that honestly than slap the same badge on everyone. A basic listing passed the three checks above. A photo-verified profile has additionally confirmed her photos with us directly — for example with a fresh photo we requested. The highest level, ID-verified, means we’ve confirmed identity against a document. The badge on a profile reflects the level that profile actually reached, nothing more.
What “verified” does not mean
Honesty time. Verification tells you the person, photos and number are real and belong together. It does not guarantee availability on a given day, the accuracy of every rate listed, or anything about your experience. We check profiles periodically and remove ones that go stale or start generating complaints, but there’s always a gap between our last check and your visit — so if something on a profile doesn’t match reality, tell us.
Reporting and removal
If you believe a profile is fake, stolen, or misrepresents someone: report it via the contact page and we’ll review it within days, not weeks. If a photo or phone number of yours appears on this site without your consent, we remove it — no forms, no arguing. Pages that display phone numbers carry a direct removal link.
More context on how the site works is on the about page and in the FAQ. Advertisers can start on the advertise page — the first checks are part of onboarding.
