A rooftop over Martim Moniz
TOPO opened in 2015 on the sixth floor of the Centro Comercial Martim Moniz, reached through the shopping centre on Largo Martim Moniz between Mouraria and the downtown. It is a laid-back design rooftop looking straight across at São Jorge Castle, the kind of view you climb an unlikely staircase of escalators to reach.
Sunset drinks, young crowd
The terrace is cozy rather than cavernous, drawing a young crowd for sunset drinks and regular DJ sets. It reads as a design-led bar with a view rather than a full-scale party venue, and it shares a name and sensibility with its sister site, TOPO Chiado.
Cocktails and casual food
Cocktails and casual food are the offer, served through the afternoon and into the night with DJs playing as the evening builds. The castle framed across the Mouraria rooftops is the reason to time your visit for sundown.

Entry is free. It opens daily from 12:30, closing at 01:00 Sunday to Wednesday and 02:00 Thursday to Saturday. Card payment and English-speaking staff are standard. The entrance is via the Martim Moniz shopping centre, steps from the metro.
