Same room, third name
Diamond Club is Funchal’s principal — effectively only — strip club, opened in 2025 at Rua de Dom Carlos I nº 2 in the Zona Velha. The address is the island’s adult-nightlife constant: the same premises housed Lux Angels until early 2025, and Bada Bing before that. Names change; the pole, sensibly, stays where it is.
The room
Inside is a two-level affair: a stage with pole, a long bar, a pool table and a mezzanine lounge looking down on proceedings. Under its previous flags the format was stage shows a few times a night plus private and lap dances, and there is no indication the new operator has reinvented a formula that has served this room for over a decade.
Prices: history as a guide
Diamond Club publishes nothing — no hours, no entry price, no drinks list. For orientation only: the Lux Angels era charged €20 entry with a drink included and ran Monday to Saturday, 23:00 to 05:00. Treat those as folklore rather than fact, and confirm the current arrangement via the club’s Instagram before setting out.
A very Madeiran caveat
Madeira’s adult-nightlife market is genuinely tiny — this room and one hotel-zone rival are the whole scene. The Zona Velha location is a gift: minutes from the seafront promenade and cable-car station, surrounded by the old town’s restaurants. Minimum age is 18, and stale online listings for “Lux Angels” refer to this club’s previous life — ignore them.
