Casino Lounge Funchal sits on Avenida do Infante directly opposite the casino gardens, and its whole identity flows from that geography: when the tables wind down, the night walks across the road. Friday and Saturday nights only — the island does not pretend to need more — the Lounge runs Madeira’s one true late-night show room: a curved bar in dark wood and brass, a small stage with a big lighting rig, and a terrace where the Atlantic breeze does the air conditioning.

The show, island-sized

Sets run at midnight and 02:00: burlesque and dance numbers scaled honestly to the room — polished, warm, closer to cabaret than spectacle, with performers who work the terrace between sets and remember faces from one summer to the next. The dance floor takes over after each set; the DJ policy is simple (nothing you cannot dance to) and the room obeys it until four.
