Sultao Strip Club
Sultao is the Albufeira Strip’s resident strip club, tucked down Rua da Vitoria a few steps from Matt’s Bar in the middle of the Algarve’s rowdiest nightlife mile. A contemporary-styled room with a steady rotation of dancers, it lives off the stag-and-birthday trade that floods Areias de Sao Joao every summer, and group entry packages are sold by most of the party operators in town.
It runs on classic Strip economics: entry deals shouted from the door, drinks priced for holiday wallets, and lap dances negotiated directly. Everything works fine as long as you fix prices before saying yes, which is our standing advice for every venue on this coast. In high season expect queues after 1 a.m.; in winter, check it is open before making the trip.

Just off the Albufeira Strip in Areias de Sao Joao, on the small side street next to Matt's Bar. Every taxi and tuk-tuk on the Strip knows it; it is a 5-minute ride from Albufeira old town.
Good to know
- Sultao is a fixture of the Albufeira Strip scene and a standard stop on the stag-do circuit, with group entry deals sold through party operators.
- Peak season is summer; outside it, opening nights thin out with the resort crowds.
- Doormen and promoters on the Strip will happily walk you in; agree entry and first-drink prices before you commit.
- Lap dances and dancer drinks are the upsell; prices are negotiable, so ask first.
