The honest end of the market
Requinte is the long-running budget-to-mid classic of the Sintra side of the IC19, tucked into Abrunheira a couple of kilometres from the motorway exit and run by a properly registered operator, Requinte – Motel Sociedade Hoteleira Lda. Its claim to fame is simple arithmetic: at €25 for up to two hours, the Simples suite is the cheapest verified hourly room anywhere in the Lisbon area.
Seven rungs on the ladder
The suites climb in orderly tiers — Simples, Luxo, Super Luxo, Master — before the names get grander: the black-and-silver Preto e Prata at €100 for up to twelve hours, the Âmbar and Ónix suites at €140, and the Nupcial bridal suite topping out at €200 for stays over twelve hours. Only the Simples is sold in the two-hour block; everything else starts at four or twelve.
A small ritual with chocolate
The house’s one flourish is the gift tray: chocolate and a drink of your choice, included on every stay over four hours, and always included when you book the Nupcial or Preto e Prata. It is a modest gesture, but at these prices modest gestures are rather the point — the tiering does the talking, not the theatrics.

The site itself is sparing with photographs; what it does publish confirms the straightforward, tiered format rather than any themed extravagance.
