Photus Club has been at this longer than most of Lisbon’s nightlife — eighteen-plus years and counting, currently settled on Rua Bernardo Lima between Picoas and Marquês de Pombal. It styles itself a sophisticated, discreet private club, and the numbers back the reputation: roughly 4.8 out of 5 across more than two hundred reviews. A ~120-seat room keeps it intimate without ever feeling cramped.
Shows that never stop
The format is continuous stage shows, nightly from 22:00 to 04:00, with a rotating cast of dancers drawn from South America and Northern and Eastern Europe. There is no single headline hour; the entertainment simply keeps cycling, which suits both the solo visitor nursing a whisky and the bachelor party settling in for the duration. Groups are, unsurprisingly, a house specialty.
A menu with actual prices
Rare among Lisbon’s clubs, Photus publishes its full menu: draft beer at €7.50, spirits by the glass from €12, and bottles from €140 to €550 — a Grey Goose runs €280, and every bottle comes with two litres of mixers. Entry is €20 with a drink included. VIP rooms exist behind their own door; those prices, in the trade’s tradition, are on request.
Practicalities
Doors open at 22:00 every night of the week and close at 04:00. Booking works through the Fourvenues platform or over WhatsApp on +351 939 727 474, which is worth doing for groups. The location is a short, flat walk from two metro stations, and all published prices already include 23% VAT — no arithmetic surprises at the till.
