The strip club on Pink Street
Ménage is the best-known strip club on Rua Nova do Carvalho — Pink Street — which makes it the one Lisbon strip club most tourists could find by accident. Note the name: it is simply Ménage, whatever older guides say. Amid the street’s bar chaos it functions, by several accounts, as the calmer room on the block, open Monday to Saturday until 06:00.
A show every half hour
The format is metronomic: a strip show roughly every thirty minutes, padded with pole-dance performances between sets. Beyond the stage, the services menu climbs a well-labelled ladder — table dance, private dance, “private dance touch”, a couple’s version, and a “royal private” at the top, plus a two-dancer stage show for those who prefer spectacle to intimacy. The drinks are the toll
Entry is gentle — about €30 for men with a first drink included, and women often free per local guides. The bar is where Ménage earns its mixed reviews: drinks widely reported at €30 and up, dancer’s drinks likewise. Praised for its performers, criticized for its prices — the oldest trade-off in the trade, played out nightly at the mouth of Cais do Sodré.
Getting there and getting in
Cais do Sodré station — metro, trains and ferries — is two minutes away, making this the easiest club in Lisbon to reach and to leave. Doors open at 23:00, Sundays excepted. One stale directory still marks it closed; its own website, current listings and live map data all disagree, but a call to +351 213 461 507 costs nothing.
